Campsite Facilities

Clean showers

We take great pride in our campsite facilities and are delighted to offer warm, clean shower/washroom/toilet facilites.

For those of you who travel with electronic devices (such as mobiles phones, iPads, etc.), we have installed charging points in the shower blocks at a cost of £1 per half hour.

Laundry Room

We now have a laundry room with a washer and dryer, which helps with those staying a little longer or anyone traveling further after staying with us.

All-weather picnic barn

Hand built using timber from Witherslack Woodlands, and the amazing hard work of Fair Weather Oak. Perfect for shading from the sun, or hiding away form rain- fabulous for camping in all weather.

Farm shop

We have a small farm shop on-site for your everyday essentials and wood should you choose to have a campfire. This is only allowed using our fire pits and wood that are available on request at time of booking.

For other supplies, there is a convenience store located a short walk away from the campsite, in the village of Witherslack. You could even pop into the local pub, The Derby Arms, for a little refreshment!

Campfires allowed

We allow campfires, however we ask use a fire pit.

We have a limited number so please keep to one per group, These are free use so feel free to collect one when you arrive, they are situated next to the ladies toilet block .

Barbeques may also be used if they are kept off the ground level (e.g. placed on top of the fire pit using the supplied grill or on a BBQ stand which you bring).
