What a lovely place!
This was our first camping trip with our children. What a lovely place we chose to stay. We truly experienced what camping is all about. The facilities are all you need and were kept very clean. To be able to use their campfires with no hidden charge was just fantastic and for me the fire was the highlight of our trip. The lady who checked us in was friendly and the shop very reasonable. I would recommend this site to friends.

The kids loved exploring
Lovely campsite with room for around 10 large tents. Really friendly family who own it who were always on hand if you needed anything. Fire pits are for use for free, saving a little space in the car. Yurts and little lodges also on site which looked lovely too. The kids loved exploring the site with lots if birds nesting and other wildlife in abundance. The toilets and showers were very clean and warm. A noisy group arrived on one night and they were promptly removed the next morning to everyone elses delight. We never felt ripped off and camping here was very reasonable. We’ll definitely be back.

Perfect campsite for us
We travelled as 2 couples with 3 toddlers and stayed in the small lodges. They are fully kitted up with a 3/4 bed and also a day bed. It’s possible to fit a single air bed on the floor next to the day bed for a 4th person to sleep. There are 2 single sockets on the lodge and outside there is a small kitchenette with a 2 ring gas stove complete with frying pan, sauce pan and kettle. Decent amount of storage for essential supplies. The toilet block is a short walk and is clean, well kept with very good showers. There is also a parking bay outside the lodge for easy access. We would definitely stay again!
